Musso Insurance can trace its roots back to 1955 when it was Wrightsman
Insurance, established by Okal Wrightsman. Over the years, the agency
became affiliated with real estate and Okal and his son, Loy, headed the
business. In 1977, Dom "Nick" Musso and Loy became partners when Okal
retired. In 1993, the firm, Wrightsman-Musso, LTD., was sold to Nick.
His son, Marc, directed the insurance division. At the present time, the
agency has come full circle with separate divisions and ownership. Nick
owns the real estate business and Marc purchased the insurance
division, in 2001, now known as Musso Insurance. In 2006, Musso
Insurance Agency expanded to Waverly, Illinois when it purchased Randy
Mahan Insurance Agency, which is now know as Musso Insurance Agency.
